Tis the Season to Forget Everything

If I told you how many times I have been to Walmart recently, I would be ashamed. I have been nonstop busy for the last month, with Christmas presents and starting to become a little crafty. (i.e. attempting to make nice Christmas presents, I hope you like yours Catherine! Also there might be a small hole in the wrapping paper....try not to peek...) and an almost 1 year old, my life is chaos. I am finally starting to enter the phase of "Wow this is why moms are always tired".

Speaking of which, Joshua is 11 months old! He is basically ONE and that is insane!

I am not really good of doing the month to month posts of what my child has learned to do, so I will try to cover the last 3 months right now.

Joshua crawls super fast so my day is mainly spent chasing him around and making sure he doesn't kill himself because he gets into EVERYTHING! Make up, the computer, pulling up the vent out of the floor, the trash, the cords, pulling things off of end tables, opens drawers and pulling everything out, the trash, pulling the toilet paper off the roll, the water bowl and did I mention the trash?

Just recently I was trying to finish my breakfast half asleep (this is surprisingly not normal) and I look over to see he is covered and trash, and not the just paper and easy things to get off. I mean crumbs and other sticky things galore. So he got his bath a bit early.

He LOVES baths! To the point that I just let him crawl around in the tub for 30 minutes until the water is half cold and he seems like he wants out.

Just the other day he figured out how to turn on the shower though. I should preface that with the fact that I let some water trickle out of the end of the spout at the end of his bath so he will look up and I can rinse his hair.

It seemed ingenious until he figured out he can turn the water to freezing and turn on the shower...now I just have to be more careful and it's more of a game/battle.

Oh and the stubbornness! He now is starting to throw fits when we tell him not to touch things. (Boy oh boy....but luckily this is pretty rare)

He tries to climb on everything. He frequently uses me as a stepping stool. He has been climbing up the stairs for a long time, but recently he learned to climb down the stairs and how to get off the bed/couch (mostly) safely. He's fast and strangely careful about it.

He can basically walk. He took 7 steps the other day. He is constantly trying, but I think he likes to try when he thinks no one is looking. It's rather funny.

Also pretty recent is hugs! This started probably 3 days ago but I think he is starting to give hugs and I am loving it!!!!!!!!

This is probably my favorite of his new habits. I miss how he used to snuggle me, so hugs are one step in the right direction. (Though I have come to terms that snuggling may not come back again until he is officially a toddler and probably only when he is sick, but hey I can dream right?)

Along the line of awesome things, is that he eats solid meals now all the time. He still nurses a little bit, mainly before naps and bed. He has cereal for breakfast, and then eats whatever I eat for lunch and dinner. He loves stuffing and bananas and most things. (He HATED baby food, like truly hated it, so that made 6-8 months kind of complicated for me). I had it all planned out in my head that I would start introducing baby food at 6 months and slowly over the next several months transition him to real food, but he threw that idea out the window.

He eats tons though, he can eat a whole can of chicken noodle soup, seriously this kid is insane. It baffles me that he is such a petite baby for how much he eats.

Sadly no teeth that I can see, but I am not good at checking...but I am not too worried. Joshua has proven to me time and time again that he will only do things when he is good a ready. An example is crawling. He could have easily been crawling at 6 months, like he was ready, but he didn't care to learn. He finally decided basically over night to learn to crawl about a month later. When he decides to learn something, he learns fast but no one is going to rush him.

So I honestly expect to wake up one day and he will just be walking perfectly everywhere because that is Joshua.

He sleeps 10pm-8am and I am actually mostly okay with that, but he takes 2 solid 2 hour naps a day and is on a really nice schedule so I can't complain.

Why I feel so busy is because I can only get things done during the 1st nap time. The 2nd nap time is mainly getting things cleaned up before Garett gets home.

We did get to see Garett's family for Thanksgiving this year. It is always great to see them since they are rather far away.

We are also planning on being there for Christmas. We were supposed to go last year but because Joshua was on his way, traveling was out of the question.

Garett is working tons and tons and we were doing pretty well at saving up money, but Christmas slowed that down a bit as it always seems to do.

He also just finished applying to grad school for Microbiology which means we will be biting our nails until sometime early next year when we figure out where on earth we are going to be moving to. We've applied to schools all around the country so we could end up anywhere.

I think that covers most of everything that has happened recently. I would blog more, but like I said, my window of productivity is pretty small.

Posting for Posting's Sake

I don't particularly have much to say. I PROBABLY could show you pictures but I am being lazy. Plus all the fun ones are on my phone. One of these days I will post them. Probably around Christmas time so don't hold your breathe.

Currently I am sitting in the I-Center on campus in between classes. I would have been done at noon but I have another class at 3 pm. =/ On the bright side I killed my Medieval art history test! Take that Late Christian/Early Byzantine Style! Not to mention studying Codex from different gospels. So I am happy.

Now I just have Studio Lighting left in which we will review our last assignment and then my teacher will monologue for the next 2 hours about nothing in particular. You see his wife is teaching our class for these next 3 weeks so we are doing her assignments. The assignment we are reviewing today is the last one from him for awhile, but I don't know what else he has to say since he's not giving the assignments for a few weeks. But regardless he will monologue the whole class period, despite it supposedly being "lab time" which should be optional....not that I am bitter or anything.

I really am in a good mood though, despite my lack of sleep from studying for my test. Mostly I was anxious for that test so now all is good. I am going to try to get my online homework done here in a few minutes though so I can pack tonight.

Tomorrow we are going to pick up the AMAZING Haley and then head down to Utah to keep my dad company and see my little brother! Extremely jealous of you mom! In case you were wondering she is in Michigan with my sister, her husband and Nikolai! REALLY REALLY jealous mom! But it is okay because we're going to see our most favorite author of all time Brandon Sanderson on Saturday! I hope I can play it cool though, because honestly I just want to flip out, but I don't want to come off as some insane fan girl. Though I really am...anyway definitely looking forward to that and some open road car time with Garett.

I feel bad, this week I've probably gotten to talk to Garett no more than 5 minutes at a time. It's been one of those weeks where I'm running constantly for about 14-16 hours a day non-stop. Let us hope next week is a little slower. Bless his soul, he has been extremely patient with me. I am the luckiest girl to have such an easy going, sweet husband. I am definitely the anxious, stressed out crazy one in our relationship. Garett's just crazy in good ways, though no one ever sees it but me. That man, he comes off so quiet and sweet. Don't be fooled, he's actually a very hyper child. I mean that in the sweetest sense possible. He's hilarious and makes me laugh all the time and it is wonderful. Honestly I need his goofiness all the time.

Anyway sorry for the off topic rant. He really is awesome. I hope all of you get to meet him one day. And for those who have met him, I hope one day you get to see his goofy side because it's hilarious and so much fun. For our friends who have seen his goofiness...you understand. =]

I guess I'll end this. Sorry it's so long, but if you have read this far, good job. I owe you a hug.
Keep laughing y'all.
It really is the best medicine!

Apologies

Sorry I haven't blogged in ages. Either I'm super busy or doing mostly nothing outside of work. There isn't any wiggle room. I will blog more about all my adventures I've had this last month but probably not until next week. I will definitely try before my school starts up. Yes I'm not back I'm school yet.... you're suddenly wishing you were in Idaho now aren't you?

Mostly it's because my computer was null and void for most of the month and I have had very little time to edit pictures after shooting a wedding and 2 receptions. So this next week I will be on overload. Expect at least 3-4 blog posts this next week. I would do it today but I have a ward potluck this evening which I'm helping set up.

Currently computers are down at work for the second time so you can thank work for this little update. Oh and expect lots of pictures! My poor not so little camera has been on overload lately. Thank goodness for large memory cards!

Hope all is well for y'all. Garett and I are doing very well. I would like to skype with many of you sometime soon. If you want my schedule for the coming months I can message or email it to you. My schedule should be fairly calm this next semester. Not like last semester which was chaos. Anyway I wish y'all the best of luck and send you my love!

Time, Where Did You Go?

Why did you leave me here alone?
Wait, don't go so fast
I'm missing the moments as they pass.

Okay I don't really feel that way, sort of. Time does seem to speed up though. I think this post has been a long time in the making. Partially thanks to all my little brother's inspiring posts, but also a conversation I had with my mom today.

It's amazing how much I have changed and everyone around me. Seems not that long ago my siblings and I were all at home playing the game cube, or running around outside or making forts in that little triangle area in the foyer, not realizing what was in store for us. I'm pretty sure the last 3 or 4 years have been the fastest.

Since then 3 of us have gone to college, one is on his way very soon (Congrats Aaron, I'm so proud of you!). 2 have finished college, 3 marriages, a mission and 1 1/2 children later. Not to mention my parents moved across the country to an unfamiliar region. And now Catherine and Jesse are moving to Michigan. =[ (I would talk on this longer, but I hate thinking about it. Just FYI Catherine don't feel guilty. I know that Jesse needs to go to law school and this is good for both of you, but I'm going to miss you insanely).

Needless to say, it has all flown by because so much has happened and that tends to make time speed up.
I love it, but sometimes I wish we could slow it down a little. You know, stop and smell the roses (if there were any living roses in Rexburg at the moment...)

I started out as a girl who loved musicals, dancing, singing and bunnies, always so shy. I grew up to be a little less shy, making lasting friendships. Was a little rebellious in high school as all teenagers are. Mostly in refusing to sleep at reasonable hours. Honestly I was punishing myself, but also I had homework anxiety. I hated doing homework when people were around, not sure why but I did. Came to college pretty much did everything fun my first two semesters and then settled down when I met Garett. Once again I have been making some amazing friendships, though none greater than Garett of course.

He really does complete me. =]
(Ok side rant) My biggest pet peeve lately is that in books and movies a lot of the time they make it seem like marriage is boring and that married people just fight all the time and are whiny. When they're dating it's all cute and sweet and then they get married and suddenly they're boring.
IT IS A BIG FAT LIE!!!!
Garett and I honestly probably have more fun now that we're married. We're SOOO goofy together.
We dance around in the kitchen, he's always running up & hugging me, sometimes scaring me.
We're just constantly silly and ridiculous and I hate that society today portrays marriage as boring. If your marriage is boring, you're doing something wrong. Yes it is a lot of work, living with someone is never going to be easy, you'll have up days and down days, but if you don't have fun and goof off then you're going to be miserable, just like when you're single. When you're single and on your own life can get overwhelming with school, work, dating and chores so you have to remember to kick back and laugh sometimes. Same goes for marriage.
Anywhooo, sorry this has been bothering me lately. So all those who are thinking about marriage, just letting you know, it is WAY more fun to be married because then you get to be goofy ALL the time and it's tons of fun. I probably have laughed more in the last 9 months than I have in my entire life, but I also married someone who is just really funny (to me). So when thinking about marriage I would recommend thinking about how much you can laugh together, unless you hate laughing, then disregard this whole thing. Anyway for all those who are married I hope you can relate and that I'm not way off target here. I hope I haven't offended you either because maybe Garett and I just laugh more than most people, I don't know. This is just my opinion, don't hate me. I just really like to laugh.

And even just in the last 9 months we have changed a great deal. Planning a wedding, going to school and working was not easy. Honestly I was stressed most of the time. But it taught me I could handle the workload. Even now I'm still learning and changing. Fridays are now catch up on homework and house cleaning days. Balancing Garett-Megan time along with the other 50 million tasks we have on a daily basis isn't easy but we're growing together. If you asked me 2 years ago where I thought I would be, it definitely wouldn't be here. And looking back I wasn't ready then. Over the years we have a vast amount of self discovery. We learn what we like, what we hate, what we thrive for, what we need and what we want.

I thought I was going to marry a brunette dog lover, I got a blonde cat lover. In my desire to make him love dogs, I've actually come to be okay with cats. I used to think I was weaker than I was. I didn't think I could handle a job I hated while going to school full time. I didn't think I could handle living in a frozen tundra but I do. Throughout our lives we are learning more about ourselves and where we want to be in our lives.

I love my life, I won't lie. It isn't perfect. I get stressed easily, I worry like crazy and I constantly have a running list of things to do in my head. But I know I'm where I belong and though I worry I can't handle such a tough schedule, I know I can. 2 years ago I could not have handled this, but I can now. Slowly life has been preparing me for this. And though I'm a little terrified to have kids, I know when the time comes I will be ready. (I promise I am NOT pregnant, not ready for it). Not so much of being scared of being a mother, but scared of being a student mother. I know some people can do it and hats off to them but as far as I know, I'm not one of them. Regardless when I'm ready, I'm ready but for now I'm just working on myself and my marriage. It's a journey for sure, even though mine is just beginning, I love it.
At the end of the day I know I'm where I'm supposed to be. Where I'll be in 2 years, I have no clue, but it'll be right wherever I go. Life is crazy and scary, but that is the beauty of it. If there is one thing you can be certain of in life, it is change (also death, taxes, and dishes) and with it learning in growth.

I know I have a long ways to go, I'm scared and excited but I'll be ready for it.
I hope we can all remember to embrace change no matter what form it comes in.
Love you all.
Thanks for listening. Sorry it was long.

Megan

I'm alive I swear!!!

Hey so basically this is just to let y'all know I'm alive. Sorry I don't blog much anymore. I went from having too much time to do nothing to wishing there was 10 more hours to every day. I'm baking in school, I love my classes, they just take up a LOT of time.

My favorite class by far has to be Lithography. For those who don't know what it is, here is a link to sum it up for you. And if you're too lazy to even read the link, basically it is making images with (what started with Bavarian Limestone) but we are using aluminum plates. Unlike printmaking, it is not an intaglio process. So it is not etched with acid. Honestly I'm still not even TOTALLY sure how Lithography works, but generally it works with oil and water and the science behind the two. And man there is A LOOOOOT of chemistry in it, which is odd because out of all the sciences, chemistry was probably my worst subject. We're still learning.

It helps that our teacher is an overly hyper lover of and Master of Lithography. Apparently he doesn't get to teach it much though so he is OVERLY thrilled that he is getting to now. He's pretty nerdy when it comes to Lithography, but it's good because it helps us students to want to try. I think it is going to be really hard, but really fun. Oh and apparently this is the FIRST EVER Lithography class at BYU-I. My old print making teacher is really hoping we can keep this class in the future. So I feel a little like a guinea pig. Please pray that we can keep this class, I think it's going to be really cool & really fun. =]

My 2nd favorite is of course digital photography. It is definitely taking me a little out of my comfort zone but it is pretty darn fun. (The assignments are more abstract rather than traditional). The teacher is very enthusiastic which helps. In general it's the crazy happy teachers that make the classes awesome. The teachers really make the class. If you love what you're teaching the students will too.

I'm also taking The Middle East, which is awesome. I'm learning more about the Arab cultures and I love it. I have such a great respect for them. I'm taking Origins of the Universe which is alright, got to go to the planetarium on campus. Didn't know we had one until yesterday. Not going to lie, I got pretty dizzy from it. Lastly I'm taking Doctrine & Covenants Part 1 which is a lot of self taught studying with a little class insight.

All in all school is good, just very time consuming. Thank goodness for no classes on Fridays, though it doesn't mean I'm not on campus on Fridays, still am just working on my own though.

So that's life, sorry for no pictures. I'm in the middle of 3 projects right now, I'll hopefully have some pictures up next week. Thanks for listening. Sorry this was a little long. I just like really weird art classes.

Keep dancing,
if you haven't danced today,
DO IT NOW!

Happy New Year!

A week late!

I'll keep this quick.
Sorry I haven't been blogging much lately.
Life has been crazy/lazy these last 4 months.
Now Garett and I are settled into our new apartment, with only a few minor things to put away..........somewhere.......
Pictures will be up soon.
Now that we have out own apartment, I just want to invite EVERYONE over.
Not sure why, but it is a craving I have so we have already invited several people over in the 3 days we have been here.

Basically I LOVE being married.
Growing up is scary and fun though.
I can't remember anything before August except freaking out a lot because I didn't have time to breathe.
I HATE unpacking 23,094,283,747 boxes!
But love seeing the results.
I am nervous/excited for our new ward.
I feel like there is singles land and married land and they are SO far apart.
I'm in love with our egg chair (pictures soon).
What to do you when you wake up at 9 and church is at 1:30?
Blog.

Anyway I will update more when I have fun pictures to go along with them.
Congrats to Albert and Wendy and best of luck to you!
Have fun unpacking....xP

And everyone come stay with Garett and I please???
P.S. Lizzy, you got me the best wedding/Christmas present ever!
I am going to bake cookies ALLLLL the time now!

N64 with Garett
is my favorite <3 p="p">

BIZY BIZY BIZY

To be said like the magician in "Frosty the Snowman".
(The last 10 seconds)

That was my life for the last 4 months, though much more intensely these last two or so weeks. Oh the stories that Haley and I could tell you....

But I won't because most of them are grossly unpleasant dealing with slamming doors, stomping, finals crammed into 3 days, migraines and everything unhappy.

Luckily those days are over!
This last week Garett and I have been in Centerville, Utah with my parents and siblings (minus Aaron, miss you bud!).

My parents moved houses and I love this new one, it is beautiful. =]
I have gotten to play with my dear nephew who can now sit up on his own and I have enjoyed the little and bigger things of life with those that truly matter in my life.
(Side note, got to meet Wendy's mom, yay short people! Can't wait to for her to join our family in December!)
This evening we are finally relaxing and ready to head down to California tomorrow morning. It will be a long drive but luckily I have some pretty awesome people to share the ride with.

All in all I am ready to fast forward 7 1/2 days (I wonder why.....) but I guess I can wait until then.

Until then I have asked of Garett for him to call me: my wife, Megan Bonds, Mrs. Bonds or Sister Bonds. All are acceptable in reference to me. Mostly I just like hearing them said and I giggle like a five year old littler girl. I imagine the sight is rather amusing.

Anyway I guess that is an update on life, and about as vague as one can get without saying "I was some place, now I am somewhere, going somewhere else tomorrow and changing my world next week".

Regardless California is calling my name, and then Georgia beaches shortly to follow.
I have been waiting for next Friday for a long time, basically since I met Garett's family last year, fell in love with them and decided to steal his grandparents. (They're pretty darn amazing!)

In summary I am ready to be a BONDS! =D =D =D =D =D After all I was swooped up by that Bonds charm (as grandpa Bonds would say) ;D

I am not sure when I'll get to blog again. Maybe the night before my wedding because I will not be sleeping a wink, being all nervous, giddy and excited. Same thing goes for Christmas and any other vital holidays or events. I digress, if I don't get to blog before my wedding, then SO LONG SEBRIGHT NAME, SINGLE LIFE AND THE AWFUL AWFUL DATING GAME! Sorry but you will NOT be missed.

Mrs. Megan Bonds here I come!!!!!

Copper and Chemicals Equal Beauty

Or at least for other people.
In this post I am going to give you a LITTLE rundown of what goes into Printmaking.

To define printmaking: It is creating an image using a wax (or other material) coating over a metal/glass plate, cutting into the coating with a etching needle, dipping (etching) the plate in acid (ferric chloride) then inking it and running it through a press to create an image.
First is the 4 basic techniques to printmaking:

#1 Dry Point
This involves no ground (coating) or acid hence the name DRY point.
You use a etching pen to cut directly into the copper (we use roofing copper)
As you might be able to see (if enlarged) the edges are jagged (due to the grain) and it is hard to get smooth, crisp clear lines.

#2 Soft ground
We put something like a dry brown glue coating on the plate using a roller and a hot plate to melt the coating evenly across the plate.
The reason it is called soft ground is because it does not harden, but rather is soft enough for you to make imprints of things on it. It is not good for drawing unless you are SUPER careful not to leave fingerprints on it. It is very sensitive.

#3 Hard ground
In this we use a floor wax coating which does remain hard.
It is good for stenciling things and getting very hard clear straight lines, or gentle curves.

#4 Aquatint
Which is a misleading name because it is actually golden rosin dust.
We mix up the dust by blowing air into the box and then put our plates in to let them get coated.
After coating we take it to the hot plate where the rosin melts into TINY beads across the plate.
With a mix of stop outs you can get different tones and values on your plate.

All the processes above were only done once per plate. For our main projects we have to do 3 of those processes.
For my first one I did a hardground to draw outlines of my image,
aquatint (as seen below) and then dry point.

Dry point gives you fuzzy jagged lines
Soft ground gives you very thin but semi soft lines
Hard ground five you think crisp clear lines
Aquatint give you values

What you see below is my aquatint with red rosin stop-out.
To explain what a stop-out is I should give you an idea of the process.

1) Choose image
2) Cut copper plate down to the size you want ie. 4x6 or 5x7 etc
3) Degrease plate with soap & 600 grade sandpaper (grounds will not stick to oily spots)
4) Put coating (ground) on plate, the time for this can vary from 10-20 minutes to do
5) Let dry (hard ground) , cool (soft ground) or melt (aquatint)
6) Make imprint or draw on ground (for soft & hard only)
7) Etch, this consists of putting tape on the back of your plate and dipping it in Ferric Chloride for anywhere between 30 seconds to 40 minutes
8)Take out, rinse
9) Use alcohol, acetone or a variety of other chemicals to remove ground from plate
10) Put on next ground (normally aquatint) (skipping the melting process)
11) Figure out values, etch 30 seconds
12)Take out, rinse off
13) Put red rosin (or other stop-out) on plate
This is a coating that you paint on with a paintbrush to keep the ferric chloride from etching that area of the image
14) let dry for 15 minutes
15) tape back
16) etch
(repeat steps 12-16 another 4-5 times, adding time each time until desired darkness)

Below is what it looks like with an aquatint and red rosin towards the end of the process.

Then there is the printing process
1) Let paper soak 10mins-1 hour (depending on brand)
2) Ink plate with scrap matte board (very stiff cardboard like material)
3) Scrape off excess ink with more matte board
4) Use tarlatin (cheese cloth) to wipe ink evenly across plate without leaving weird marks
5) Clean edges
6) Line up copper plate & paper carefully on a sheet of acetate on the press
7) blankets down, check pressure settings on the press
8) roll the paper through, open up, carefully pull paper off and you have an image!
9) Now repeat this 8+ times!

And you get this:

To give you an idea of ALL the little detail it take in doing red and white rosin, here is a series of images adding red rosin each time:
(white rosin is more like paint, the thicker it is, the less it etches, the thinner it is the more it etches. Giving nice smooth change from light to dark, more paint like feeling)

Rosin!

And more rosin
And more rosin!

This is what the plate looks like after you remove the ground and rosin, before printing:

And then the final image:

I know that I only showed you 6 of my images but honestly I only have 9 total.
(In the process of one right now)
That may not sound like much but considering the last 3 have 3+ processes, these images easily take....4-5 (3 hour) class periods plus coming in on my own time on Fridays to work on them.
It is a good class to have a book to read in because there is lots of waiting to dry and etch time.

Sorry if this was super boring and if you got lost.
I tried to dumb it down as best as I could.
Kudos to you if you read it all.
Anyway this is a pretty fun class, if you're in college and like art even a little bit, you should take it. It is a lot of fun and you learn TONS.

Hope you enjoyed it.
I know my images aren't all that great, but hey I'm a "baby" print maker (it is what the advanced classes call us).

Kudos is a strange word
Kudos Kudos Kudos

In Which I Conquer the World

With nothing to show for it.

Well that is how I feel anyhow.

This semester I have managed to be a full time student, work part time, plan a wedding and still manage to see Garett most everyday.

Even if when I see him, it is at 10 o'clock at night and he's stressed and tired. So all I do is hug him for 10 minutes straight and scratch his back until he nearly falls asleep.
Then I tell him to go to bed and leave.

But yeah, lately it has been dawning on me how much fun I have NOT been having this semester. All my friends are off having bon fires and squirt fun fights and throwing pudding at each other. While my good days revolve around having decent surveys, my doctors appointment going well and people participating in my lessons.

I miss the days of sand dunes, bond fires and less responsibility. I miss having fun. =[

On the bright side, I slept in until 9am today, my doctors appointment went well, I got to go visiting teaching, get Garett some milk, went to Jamba (Catherine I am in LOVE with that Jamba card. You are the best!) and then got to spend a little time with Garett for a few minutes (I'm leaving homework out because there is nothing exciting or happy about doing homework).

Basically what I am saying is I cannot wait for this semester to be over and to have a real break for the first since last year in March.

In other news I found a preview of the first 6 chapters of Brandon Sanderson's new books The Alloy of Law for FREE. Garett quickly fell in love with it.
While I am starting to dive into the Mistborn series. =]

Also I found a gummy bear in my fruit snacks. (Don't judge me, fruit snacks are delicious). I then ate it and remembered how much I don't like gummy bears.
If only Steve were here to have eaten that gummy bear.
(Albert you better have gotten that joke!)

Okay off to finish a little homework. Have a lovely day folks!

I love cheese puffs
I wish I had cheese puffs
Too much salt in my spinach puffs?

I Wish I Had It

Motivation.

12 hours of homework for one class over 4 a day period is not okay.
Especially a 100 level class that is an INTRO class.
I work part time and have 4 other higher up classes to do homework for.
I don't even have 12 hours for those classes unless I want to sacrifice an arm and a leg
which I can't do since my mode of transportation in 100% by foot.

Basically when given these assignments I get so overwhelmed that I feel like I can't do them so I do other homework instead.
Anyone know a good secret for handling huge projects that are online (which btw the internet here is terrible) without getting overwhelmed?
Tell me your secret please!

On the bright side I got to see the amazing Chellie today!
And take pictures of her ;D

Also I am learning to love print making. It is SOOO much fun!

One Moment Please

Before I have to continue on in my crazy busy day I wanted to point out one or two things.

I love my family! Though we don't really look alike, I kind of love it.We are beautiful and I am blessed to have them.

I loved getting to see them this weekend and go to general conference, it was a dream come true for my parents. =]

It is raining randomly and suddenly and I love it!

Somehow all of this is making my crazy life a little easier.

Have a lovely Monday!

Where Did the Time Go?

It jumped out the window of course!

Actually I have NO clue where the time has gone. I have been home for 2 months as of tomorrow. Crazy huh? I still don't feel like I have been here THAT long. Plus somehow people still manage to NOT know that I'm in town and have BEEN in town since December. Way to pay attention in church right?

Anyway so my week starts are relatively uneventful. It looks something like this:
Work Monday (or some other random day), Friday, Saturday.

The end.

Somehow it becomes this:
Monday- Run errands with mom, get called into work suddenly, clean out my room, possibly shop some, help Aaron with math
Tuesday- Shop with mom, come home, hang out until mom gets busy with other stuff & I go run errands with Kris.
Wednesday- Unexpected babysitting for the morning and then go to work.
Thursday-Oversleep due to not sleeping well & waking up at 530am with a major cramp in my left side, lasting for a good hour or so. Doctor's appointment to make sure I STILL have acne and need medicine for it. Babysitting around dinner time.
Friday- Probably run some errands before going into work. Working ALL NIGHT, come home & crash.
Saturday-Photoshoot with a friend then MAYBE visit another long lost friend if not having TOO much fun with first said friend.
Sunday-SLEEP & Church =]

Yes I like Sundays, they make me happy and relaxed. =]

Not that I mind being busy but it is hard to schedule with people when other random things pop up that I agree to before I know what is happening.

On the bright side, I have 5 weeks left until I get to hang out with my FABULOUS sister and the best brother-in-law ever! =D

Now to go to the doctor so they can tell me that I STILL have acne. Because I can't look in the mirror and see it or anything...

Also the other more literal bright side! 66 degrees today! 76 tomorrow! Bust out those shorts that have been sitting in the back of my closet since August! =D
