Yellowstone Part 3

And finally Part 3!

Behold Old Faithful

And more and more elk!

And playing in some freezing, beautiful lake water!

<3 p="">

Skipping rocks

He's very good at it!

And some waterfalls!

Chipmunk!

And Garett and dad decided to play around

And of course the beautiful Tetons <3 p="">

It was an AMAZING break which was greatly needed.
Garett and I were able to kick back with my awesome parents and we had a wonderful time!
Thanks mom and dad! <3 p="">

Yellowstone Part 2

I won't comment on all of these, mostly because I don't know how to explain them all, but enjoy!

On the way to Walmart, plus a huge tunnel!

Mud Cauldron

Mud Volcano

This one was particularly cool.
The name Dragon's Mouth Spring is very fitting because the movement of the water in the cavern completely sounds like a dragon roaring.

The churning cauldron.
It looks like a hot tub but is more like a burning tub.

Below are some parts of the Fountain Paint Pots which were gorgeous!

Though these are part of the paint pots, up close this looks like a crime scene from Bones.

Does it not make you think of all those dinosaur movies you saw growing up?

More elk!

The White Dome Geyser

Part 3 coming soon!

Yellowstone Part 1

So fair warning I am going to be blogging tons to catch up from these last 2-3 months.
So here is the start of it.

In August Garett and I went to Yellowstone with my parents and it was amazing!

Even mom let loose!

We saw a petrified tree that was something like 50 million years old.
Crazy huh?

Some of the pictures got mixed up so here are some of Garett and I waiting for Old Faithful to go.

And Garett photo-bombing pictures.

My gorgeous parents =]

An arch made of antlers.

The men played in the water.

No he didn't actually fall.

We saw a lot of elk!

A huge part of the park is on a caldera.

These were made by hot springs and limestone.

He loves following rules...

They both follow directions so well.
Gotta love our men.

A sweet bison decided to nuzzle our car for 10-20 minutes.
A bit close for comfort but really cool!

They like chillin in the roads.

Part 2 coming soon.
