One of Those Days

So last Thursday Kris and I decided to go exploring...

We had garlic knots.

Aka homemade dough covered in garlic butter.

Aka HEAVEN.

And of course pizza to boot. It was bigger than my head.

She made some adorable faces, such as when she laughs, she scrunches her nose like a bunny.

We played on an art piece and made crazy shadow puppets.

When you stick your arms out, it automatically makes you a superhero. Clearly.

Sometimes we would stare at the sun, pretending to contemplate life, thinking of brilliant things, but in all honesty trying super hard not to cry from being blinded.

We took over benches, like fearless pirates!

To celebrate taking over benches, we danced around, and clicked our heels.

And played in puddles like 5 year olds.

No, I did not dip my hair in the puddle, thank you very much.

We found this cool wall with lots of random junk in it, it's like a giant real live, I-Spy.

A Catherine Moment

We all go to extremes for things we enjoy.


In my case, I am downing as many Yoo-hoos as possible for Grant.

He wants to make a bottle cap necklace but I left all my caps in Idaho.

And now I am drinking Yoo-hoos so he may have a fun craft project to do tomorrow.

A Mix of Old News and New Humility

In old news, here is a lovely picture I drew. I know, I am quite the artist:

If you ever wanted to know what one looked like, here he is.

Bennett is the most stubborn, persistent 3 year old I have EVER met.
More often than not, it makes me laugh, mostly because he is just so darn cute.

Klaus's family collects singing hamsters from his grandparents. I always wanted one of these. I used to go to the store and squeeze all their little hands so they all started singing and then I would run away. This was like......2 years ago.....yeah....

I have to announce to people whenever I win Mindsweeper because avoiding 90 bombs takes skills! Kidding. But seriously.

I love crazy earrings, I am addicted to them and I always want more. I can match them to anything and everything I own. I feel naked without earrings.
Yes I realize I can't wear these when I have kids. But I have a few years =D

A Winter puzzle for all y'all Westerners.

This one was intense with the WEIRDEST shaped pieces I have EVER seen! Plus the gaps and swirls. I did 95% of this puzzle by myself.

In new news, I got totally crushed at Mario Kart by a 7 year old tonight. I also failed at Wipeout (like the show) video game.

Bennett didn't want to sleep in his bed tonight so he ran into the older boys room, under Grant's bed and held on to the underside for dear life.

I was trying so hard not to laugh, it was just so cute!

And now I am going to bed at a decent hour. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

January, April, which is it?

Today has been a gorgeous day! It has been in the 50's. Can you say NO JACKET necessary???

I also was able to sleep in which was much needed.

Then I got up and dressed and picked up Yutsil (Her name is pretty awesome I gotta say).

We went to the mall just to walk around and talk and be good poor college students and only buy a single Classic Cinnabon to split. Heaven in a cinnamon roll. Enough said.

We then had 20 minutes to kill before Yutsil had to be home so I decided to take some back roads by the middle school. However, rather than taking the normal route, I knew there was another way to get back because I had went that way once with my mother a few months back......so rather than turning onto Cooper Road, we went straight and whenever the road we were on would end, we would just turn right.

We drove down some amazingly gorgeous farm roads while jamming out to a crazy mix that Yutsil made for me (Catherine, I think you would really like the mix).

Eventually we got back to some roads that I knew and got back to Yutsil's just in time.

It was a wonderful afternoon and much needed.

Yay for nice weather, great music, and beautiful NC roads.

I am a nerd, a nerd that takes pictures.

Yesterday I had a bit of free time and went and took pictures with my dear friend Yutsil.

She is helping me practice my model set up skills. Plus she is extremely cute!

With the rest of my time, I have been challenging myself with none other than SUDOKU!
(These are normal "hard" ones)

They are called "killer" sudoku and for good reason. LOTS of math and they get harder and harder as you go!

My bag I got from DeliAs that I love! Yes those zippers are real pockets!

I also discovered my new peacoat has 5 pockets yesterday! I'll post a picture and explanation later.
