New Day

So.....new day, another day of doing NOTHING!!! How exciting...Best part is, I still have an hour of class. I guess I shall talk about......WEATHER!!! Yeah so it has been ridiculously freezing these past several weeks and I am ready for spring. Bring on the sunshine, rain, and breezes please. I am completely a spring person since I have no allergies, making spring easily my favorite time of the year. The weather is gorgeous. Living in the south, I get to see every season for the unique beauty each brings.

Summer is hot, where the best adventures happen at the pool or in an ice cold movie theater, watching chick flicks, comedies, or adventure films. Either way you kind ways to beat the heat.

Fall on the other hand is an amazing sight to photograph. The mix of reds, oranges, yellows and browns with an occasional mix of green and purple bring a welcoming sight to those fortunate to live or visit here.

Winter rarely brings snow, but when the weather decides to drop a fluffy, white present, joy fills every child and even many adults. The chance to stay home, go sledding and drink tons of hot cocoa with friends and family is one people cannot pass up.

Then of course, there is my favorite, SPRING! The perfect mix of sunshine, rain, flowers, breezes and warm temperatures. Great of running, biking or any out door activities. Picnics with friends, or just laying in the grass for a Sunday naps or looking at the new flowers blooming, saying "hello world". Or for me, spring means buying new dresses and shoes along with bright colors insight at each turn.

Like today, a perfect 65 degree day, after a pleasant visit to some quite sweet people in Mt.Airy, I came home for a peaceful nap on the porch swing. Seasons are amazing whether you like the snow and cold of the hot blistering summers, you can not pass up the beauty of nature.

Take a walk,

Photography

Welcome to the first ever "Bored in photography class" blog. Today in attendance we have.....5 girls which means......EVERYONE IS HERE TODAY. yes we have only 5 girls, no guys. Ha! Yeah soooo.....I finished all the work I can do until Lauren, Porter and Kara are done shooting portrait light stuff. Woohoo....lighting is fun and quite fascinating. Yay physics! Yeah really bored and really random.....this class is amazing. Since I have nothing to do, I'll tell about my class. Porter is very fashionable along with Ally and the two of them will make you laugh till you pee, two pees in a pod. =] They are crazy loud and fun! On the other hand you have Kara. She is extremely chill and loves all things black, despite are dark colors, she is happy, and great at seeing the simple things in life. Then there's Lauren. She always has a Monster drink, and changes her hair often, she's pretty cool and her hair always looks awesome even when she doesn't try. I'm so jealous! last there is me. I just sit back and enjoy the fun of our very unique and wide range of personality brought to this class by 5 girls.

snap, flashes go pop!

Television

Sooo..........I'm going back and forth between American Idol and the Olympics on tv and thinking about how weird commercials are. There are a few I enjoy right now, like the one with the doctors running out on the field with fireworks. It is the coolest thing!!! Anyways commercials are either one of two things, either so cool that you go tell yours friends about the greatest toilet paper commercial or so dumb that you whine about people talking to their mops and brooms. It is strange what makes a commercial good and what makes it lame. Stick a squirrel in it, it's good. Try awesome humor, it is just flat dumb. It's the odd things that seem to catch the appeal of the viewers, such as people hitting small animals, animals playing patty cake, or old men break dancing outside of buses. Often I turn on the tv just to watch commercials, half the time they are more interesting than the reality shows where Brenda is crying b/c she made a cake for a bachelor and he didn't like her. Though there are 50 others girls trying to get him and she can't even complete a sentence....hmm.....exactly. We much rather watch the squirrels. Now occasionally a few shows could catch the eye of audiences, like where a whole episode is dedicated to splashing slushies in peoples' faces. As if every teenager in high school drinks slushies daily, but it makes you wanna try it. (Please don't try this at school). Shows are either meant to makes us feel better about our lives or laugh a lot so we burn calories and forget about our problems. But next time you are watching tv, think about why you like the show or commercials.

get up and run,
