I've finally had a childhood at 18.

To start, Chase and I went on a double date with Klaus and Lizzy to T.G.I.Fridays (which always reminds me of TGIF on TV with Boy Meets World and Sabrina the Teenage Witch). Such good shows, anyway, it's decent food, though (if you've seen 17 Again) where all the girls at the main character's work, treat "Wendy" to lunch there, it's totally unlikely b/c they are tiny and T.G.I.Fridays is pretty fatty but anyway....we went bowling! And half way through they turned on the black lights, oddly enough I wore my glow-in-the-dark earrings. It was pretty darn cool =]

(sorry it was dark so not a great picture)

So Lizzy decided I had to go to Build-A-bear and make a bear. Due to there not being much to do in Clemmons, Build-A-bear is a great place for kids to pick out an animal (not necessarily a bear), fluff him/her up, give it a heart, do a silly dance (to get the heart "pumping")and name it. It's quite cute and since Lizzy and I went on a Tuesday, it wasn't too busy. And let me tell you, the lady who puts the stuffing in the animals enjoys her tedious job a bit TOO much..... Yes she made Lizzy and I do the silly little dance for the heart and she seemed to get a kick out of it.....at least I didn't have to jump....haha!

So that is Lizzy's bear. She wasn't going to make one but I saw that I was going to have to do the dance so I made her make one too so I wouldn't feel so lame. Isn't he cute? She named him Niko (a nickname for Klaus since his parents ALMOST were going to call him that)
.
This is the one I made, I named him Chase because I am not creative and he's pretty cute and I think Chase is too =] And this dog is SOOOOOO soft!

Friday was our last adventure before Lizzy and Hannah leaving for college. So We had one final picture for old times sake, until Christmas at least.

So Chase's aunt has an out door, surround sound theater and invited friends and family to watch MONSTERS INC! Such a great movie, I can quote it all!

This is a poor picture but those lights on the ground outline the hot tub, less than a step and it was face plant into somewhat warmish water. Chase wants to do a movie night in the hot tub watching Finding Nemo, knowing him, he'd wear the full out scuba gear too, just to fit the movie. Anyway, until next...

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming swimming swimming,

Eenie Meanie Mine-ee Mo, BINGO was his name-o!

So lately I have found that I have a deep love for jigsaw puzzles. I was rather surprised but the more I thought about it, it's not surprising at all. I love puzzles. Rubix cubes, solitaire, minesweeper, hearts, sudoku even mahjong. Puzzles fascinate me, I love working my brain to figure out the secret behind the patterns to solve the intricate puzzles. In minesweeper I can solve the puzzle with 90 mines, in sudoku I've stopped doing any easy or medium ones, even hard. I go straight to the hardest ones I can find. There is a series that are the different colored belts of karate, but for sudoku. I skipped straight to black and have finished the first 2 degrees of it, I am now working on the 3rd degree black belt. (seen below)

I am a sucker for a challenge so lately I have been working on Jigsaw puzzles with my mom and I love them. Just like sudoku, each jigsaw puzzle is unique. Depending on where they were made, each brand offers different shaped pieces and trust me, they make some WEIRD shapes! So I'll put a few pictures up of the ones we've completed.

We started with some Disney puzzles, like Alice in Wonderland. (Great movies, book, soundtrack and puzzle!)

And Pinocchio! I never really liked the movie, it scared me, but I love that cricket!

Then we moved on to Precious Moments. Ah the memories of my sister and I's coloring books to keep us quiet during church. I found one the other day in my drawer! So many memories! And so cute!

Aaron liked this one for the sheet music and piano =]

Dad wanted a castle, so we got a German castle. It was SO hard! Mom & I tore it down as soon as I took this picture. Evil hard puzzles....grrr....on another note. My roommate Rachel bought this EXACT same puzzle in Utah at a little shop, how crazy is that?

Filling the world with love and cuteness!

Back to good old Thomas Kinkade, but this one was unusually difficult, so we tore this one down almost immediately after finishing it too. Plus it wasn't very pretty, at least the German castle was.

My mom and I found this and the one below at Walmart at 11 o'clock at night because we were just itching for a new puzzle. We liked this artist so much, we bought both! And how pretty they are! =]

Sorry about the glare, but you're not missing much, those flowers were a little bit of a pain.

Now we're starting on a 1500 piece puzzle that Chase's mom is lending us, but so far, we don't like it very much, it's challenging, mostly because we're using a patted table that doesn't like to hold the pieces together. But we'll get through it one step at a time, maybe we'll learn to like it.

Take it one step at a time,
Meg

P.S. Did I just get that Jordin Sparks song stuck in your head? If you've never heard it, check it out, it's very cute.

Random thought, whenever I wear heels on hardwood floor or pavement, and it makes that sound, I think of this song as well, and sing it to the beat of my steps.

You don't miss things until they are gone

So guess WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ate a CHICKEN STRIP today!!!!!

I am so proud of myself!

And did you know you naturally puff your face some when you blow your nose or sneeze? It hurts.....I know.....

And smiling takes more work than you realize. & you never miss being able to use your molars until you realize that 90% of what you eat requires the use of them. In short....I want a cheese burger!

And to eat steak and bacon and corn on the cob! & chicken like full on huge chicken without having to bite off tiny pieces!

but not much longer.......soon......I will have my......cheese burger!

Food lover,
Meg
