Knock knock, why are you knocking?

Welcome to the entrance to the life of the party!
(No seriously, we party ALL the time...jk only most of the time)

As you can see, Keely decided to cover the door in packaging paper. 2 other apartment doors did this with colored paper but theirs are not as cool due to 1) They did not take off their numbers and replace them back over the paper (yeah Keely made holes and screwed them BACK into the door!) 2) They only drew dumb Halloween pictures 3) They aren't us!

The top of the door, my favorites on this part are "Crush" that's Brent's nickname b/c he TOTALLY sounds like Crush from "Finding Nemo". The other is "Just call her" That too is for Brent b/c he is always too shy to call girls and ask them on dates, so we are constantly saying "JUST CALL HER"

The MIDDLE section (okay so many good ones here) "Explode up!" is from P90X workout videos, and we get so tired that we just start making fun of all the dumb things the guy says.

"What are we gonna do guys?" If I had a dollar for every time I heard this saying...we party TONS but before every brilliant idea, this question is repeated at least 100 times a night.

"Hair, We Are" is a hair styling place, yes sadly that REALLY is the name of it....

THE BOTTOM

The 2 best ones here are "Say Girl" That's apparently means "HI" when talking to girls in Texas.

The 2nd is "I pooped a heart!" That one will remain anonymous...

Until next time!

Maturity goes a long ways...

So another day continues in the boring lives of the odd little college family
as the guys come over (as per usual) to be fed and sleep and eat more food...

and to feed us cereal...

"Open wide Cacia!"
*Aaaaaaah!*

Taylor couldn't get very many due to hurting his knee while longboarding.
Oh, we are also their first aid station as well.
"Dive for it Taylor! Oh wait...you can't."

"I was the first!" Cacia was trying to teach Rachel how to put a spoon on her nose,
yes I realize we are young adults and very mature. We throw our cereal on the floor and play with our spoons.....what? You say we sound like babies? Nonsense, we are much more intelligent than that...

See? Rachel learned eventually!

So you may be wondering "what is that?" and "why is it on the ceiling?"
Well that kind ma'am or sir, is whipped cream.
Why yes we tried to eat it.....however...we missed our mouths...

Like I said, we are quite mature, obviously.

We upgraded it from trying to get it in our own mouths (since we obviously weren't too good at that), to each others mouths!
Say "AAAAAAAH!"
Dang it....the airplane hit some turbulence and is now all over your clothes....my bad...

Keely managed to get MOST of it to her mouth
"No, I wasn't playing with my food, why do you ask?"

One of the best pictures of the night. Rachel (far left): Hey it's still on my hand!
Brent (White): Where is it? Where is it?
Keely (Hat): "I think it's on top of the fridge"
Taylor (Far right): "C'mon bring it! I'm ready for it!"

"I know! Let's all chase after the same one!"

"What? I have something on my face? Nonsense!"

And then we got to be even more brilliant and decided to try to flip it to the right of us, while catching the one coming from the left!

Keely completely missed it and is still waiting
Taylor's is on the floor
Brent's went the other way
And Rachel....well she didn't really know which way she was going...

The aftermath of trying to catch and throw cereal to each other

And of course, MORE eating, and YES we did use our spoons! No we didn't stick them on our noses again! Geez what kind of loonies do you think we are? Sheesh!

(This WAS a giant cookie with ice cream and chocolate syrup on top. It last all of 30 seconds.)

So the lesson learned is we ARE mature and to have fun, you should revert back to your childhood ways because, let's face it. Kids know how to have fun!

Take your shoes off and just dance!

So this week I have learned the importance of music! Music changes everything, your mood and view of everything. I have gotten into a habit of listening to music when I walk places and the next thing I know, I have an extra hop in my step and and want to dance like life is one big musical! Ah if I could only dance around without people staring at me. Sadly I doubt my roommates would dance with me out in public....but maybe I should ask....=]

Well I guess I should catch you up from last weekend. Not much happened except Alisa's Birthday Party! SO here it goes, quick overview because I am LAZY today due to it being Friday afternoon.

So I got home around 4:30 from class and BAKED for several hours. Alisa asked for a confetti cake with cream cheese icing so I made the confetti cake, to find out her mom sent here German Chocolate cake mix and some weird nutty icing...however we only have one cake pan so we made the German Chocolate mix into cupcakes (which only the guys ate). So I made the cake and homemade cream cheese icing, and may I add, it was the most heavenly thing ever besides Reese's Peanut Butter Cups! I nearly just ate the icing by itself but alas the cake was barren and needed this heavenly creation. So Keely spead it on and then took dye and wrote Happy Birthday in purple and yellow! Happy colors =] Keely tried to take the cake out before we iced it, so we could make the other one...but it didn't work and broke in half, but she flipped it back and covered it up well. Couldn't tell until we cut it, and it fell apart...yeah

So we had cake and presents and we played "Do you love your neighbor?" I was only in the center once. Then we played musical chairs on our porch/balcony due to our apartment being hot from so much baking. It was pretty awesome and we got neighbors from all around to play with us. After that we went to Cajun Bob's which is just a dance place for Mormon kids but it was kinda lame so we went to Jamba Juice and drew pictures. After that some people were tired so they went home. But the rest of us (there were 8 I think) hoped into 2 cars and drove out into the middle of nowhere and went stargazing for hours and drew with light =] It was much fun!

The End.

Yeah, I know, not my best story but hey I'm tired! In other news I took a nap today! =] First time as of yet and I loved it! I also developed some film, which was nice. And I am slowly getting to know people in all my classes. My Book of Mormon reading is going well, I am constantly learning and I wouldn't trade this experience for the world. As for my other classes, they are quite dull but I don't mind.

I think my roommates want to go have crazy adventures this weekend. I am not sure as to what we will do since one roommate is going home and 2 of our guy friends are going home as well. Leaving 5 of us and Mikey and Taylor. So we shall see.

Oh! Wednesday night we had the guys over, just playing games and chatting and it was pretty fun =]

Other than that, it has been a slow, dull week. The weather is lovely and I am hoping to get more pictures in before it gets colder.

Maybe it is time for another nap.....=] I get to sleep in tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Always hungry!
