This is gonna be a good, good life!
To start, we ended up NOT having our German quiz because NO ONE was prepared for it, instead we took it home for homework.
Second, German class is CANCELED tomorrow!!! AKA I GET TO SLEEEEEEP IN! And I need it =]
Then we got out of Book of Mormon early because we decided to meet on Thursday for our class and then Math got let out 15 minutes early!
We went to Walmart and I got more YUMMY cereal! =D And Milk =D
Then for FHE, Bishop Hancock and his wife came and we had a nice lesson on family unity. (And all our FHE guys came for the FIRST TIME EVER! There's 6 of them, normally 3 show up at a time)
We made a family flag (we're FHE group #4) so we named our flag Fantastic 4! Even though Lisa wrote the "Fantastic" small....and we all signed our names artistically and drew pictures on it and it looks AWESOME:
The left side we have John Bähr aka "Jon Thunder", Pee Wee Herman (Because Cole's last name is Herman and he has dark hair too) along with Jenny-Far, John Berryhill, A-man-duh, Rebecca, Nicole and Lisa. And of course Dallan's monster that he drew because he could.
Yeah so I am pretty sure this flag rocks and it was a blast making it!
We also played a game where you're in 2 teams and someone draws a word out of a bowl or something. Then each team goes back and forth trying to think of songs with this word in it, such as "love" "hate" "blue" "dance" etc. We lost but it was fun, and we had root beer floats! And the Bishop and his wife left the root beer w/ us so now we have 1 1/2 liters to drink by Friday =D =D =D =D =D

Take your shoes off and just dance!
Well I guess I should catch you up from last weekend. Not much happened except Alisa's Birthday Party! SO here it goes, quick overview because I am LAZY today due to it being Friday afternoon.
So I got home around 4:30 from class and BAKED for several hours. Alisa asked for a confetti cake with cream cheese icing so I made the confetti cake, to find out her mom sent here German Chocolate cake mix and some weird nutty icing...however we only have one cake pan so we made the German Chocolate mix into cupcakes (which only the guys ate). So I made the cake and homemade cream cheese icing, and may I add, it was the most heavenly thing ever besides Reese's Peanut Butter Cups! I nearly just ate the icing by itself but alas the cake was barren and needed this heavenly creation. So Keely spead it on and then took dye and wrote Happy Birthday in purple and yellow! Happy colors =] Keely tried to take the cake out before we iced it, so we could make the other one...but it didn't work and broke in half, but she flipped it back and covered it up well. Couldn't tell until we cut it, and it fell apart...yeah
So we had cake and presents and we played "Do you love your neighbor?" I was only in the center once. Then we played musical chairs on our porch/balcony due to our apartment being hot from so much baking. It was pretty awesome and we got neighbors from all around to play with us. After that we went to Cajun Bob's which is just a dance place for Mormon kids but it was kinda lame so we went to Jamba Juice and drew pictures. After that some people were tired so they went home. But the rest of us (there were 8 I think) hoped into 2 cars and drove out into the middle of nowhere and went stargazing for hours and drew with light =] It was much fun!
The End.
Yeah, I know, not my best story but hey I'm tired! In other news I took a nap today! =] First time as of yet and I loved it! I also developed some film, which was nice. And I am slowly getting to know people in all my classes. My Book of Mormon reading is going well, I am constantly learning and I wouldn't trade this experience for the world. As for my other classes, they are quite dull but I don't mind.
I think my roommates want to go have crazy adventures this weekend. I am not sure as to what we will do since one roommate is going home and 2 of our guy friends are going home as well. Leaving 5 of us and Mikey and Taylor. So we shall see.
Oh! Wednesday night we had the guys over, just playing games and chatting and it was pretty fun =]
Other than that, it has been a slow, dull week. The weather is lovely and I am hoping to get more pictures in before it gets colder.
Maybe it is time for another nap.....=] I get to sleep in tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Always hungry!

Bounce Bounce Bounce!
To add to my feeling of being quite old, one of my favorite kids just turned 5!!! I have been babysitting the Snow boys for about 3 1/2 years. I started babysitting them when Nate was 3 1/2 and Grant was 1 1/2. Grant barely talked and Nate loved Dora. Grant turned 5 last Friday. Nate is 6 and will be 7 in May and their youngest brother who was born shortly after starting to babysit them, is now 2 1/2. I have spent many of my summer days, school evenings and weekends with these boys. I love babysitting because they are so much fun and brighten my day. They say the silliest things such as "ka-kee" apparently means chocolate milk. Who knew? Along with other fun terminology like "baba," "binkie," and "bebe," in English are bottle, pacifier and blanket. i am sure mothers can relate to such words. Bennett is learning to talk more frequently and recently learned to say "mix". I am quite proud of him!
Over the years I have known them, my mind is still blown to think how old they are. Each brings a special quality to their fun personalities. Nate is the adventurous one, always curious and wanting to learn more. He comes up with the coolest games and now loves Starwars as each young boy seems to become intrigued with at one point or another. Grant is the quiet one; he does not talk much except when he has an exciting story to tell. He always listens and does as he is told even if he says no first (trying to be tough), he always listens happily. Bennett, the youngest, looooves"Go, Diego, Go" and will demand to watch at least one episode a day. He is quite demanding and gets fixated easily on one thing at a time. He looks more and more like his parents everyday and ceases to amaze me with his knowledge constantly.
Overall, I love these boys to death and would do anything for them. They have taught me more than I could have ever learned from reading a book about raising children. they are not always easy but always worth being with. They have taught me patience and to laugh at myself and my mistakes. Whether peeing on me while trying to change a diaper, coordinating bedtimes, making dinner, playing in the sprinkler (with no extra clothes to change into) or bouncing for hours in a bounce house till I can no longer breathe, they have made my time with them adventurous and fun. Even when I am in a bad mood, they brighten my day and reassure my want of being a mother someday to have adventures with my own kids. But until then, I will enjoy hanging out with them.
mothers are amazing,
Meg
