With One Eye Open

Not because I am tired (though I am a little) but because the fan is blowing right on me and drying out my eyes. Soon I will be typing blindly. -.-

In other news I spent all day in bed and skipped my classes which was nice-ish if I hadn't been feeling bad.

Missourians are mean!
But I am done with them (hopefully) forever! Hopefully....

I can't wait for my bridal shower this weekend. =D I need a girls afternoon.

Lately I see little families of moms, dads and little babies and I get family hungry. Not baby hungry, but family hungry. I see those families and think that that could (and hopefully will be) me and Garett in a couple of years. I want my own little family! (no worries, I am not in a rush by any means, it's just a nice thought =])

Though these next 36 days are going to drag by.
I just want to be married already.
I want MY Garett and to be Megan Bonds (hehehehe)
I love saying that!
Just warning everyone, for the nest 3 months I will be using the words "Megan Bonds" and "my husband" ALLLLLLLL the time. Just expect it.
I just get SOOOOOO excited thinking about it!
hehehehe, even Garett had been in a giddy mood lately.
I guess it's just starting to feel more real now.

Also I'm going to hang out with Wendy on Friday. I'm excited!
For all those who don't know, she is going to be my sister-in-law in a few months.
(I am just gaining so many in-laws!)
And Wendy is adorable and sweet, with GORGEOUS blue eyes.
Guess I'm the only one marrying green eyes, sorry I'm not upholding your tradition dad.
But it's all for you mom ;D

So that is life.
Sorry about my last little dramatic post.
I am doing well really, just some days are harder than others.
But I just keep thinking about 5 weeks from now and how happy I will be with MY Garett.
Mine mine mine mine mine.

(Sorry I'm being sappy, This is what I get for blogging when I SHOULD be asleep)
But for the record class isn't until 11:30 so I get to sleep in. =D
Or wake up early and read Mistborn (it's starting to get really good!)

Alright I am off to sleep.
Toodles!

Bonds bonds bonds
bonds bonds bonds <3
Megan (almost!) Bonds =D

I Have Determined

That not thinking is bad. Don't do it y'all! Don't do it!
Given, I can afford to today because I'm done with my classes and finals. But here is a thought, think before you act.

My sleep schedule has been completely wacky this week.

Yes it was my own fault, and that is problem. I stopped thinking.

But now I am thinking again now that I've caught up on sleep and all of that good stuff.

But yeah, lesson learned.

I don't care how much fun you're having with your friends,
you should be logical and go to sleep at a reasonable hour.

Now that I have that figured out, time to clean and I think I might go work out tonight.
It's been too long since I've gone running.

But I've been taking LOTS of walks lately, does that count as exercise?

I need hugs
Anybody want a peanut?

Where Did the Time Go?

It jumped out the window of course!

Actually I have NO clue where the time has gone. I have been home for 2 months as of tomorrow. Crazy huh? I still don't feel like I have been here THAT long. Plus somehow people still manage to NOT know that I'm in town and have BEEN in town since December. Way to pay attention in church right?

Anyway so my week starts are relatively uneventful. It looks something like this:
Work Monday (or some other random day), Friday, Saturday.

The end.

Somehow it becomes this:
Monday- Run errands with mom, get called into work suddenly, clean out my room, possibly shop some, help Aaron with math
Tuesday- Shop with mom, come home, hang out until mom gets busy with other stuff & I go run errands with Kris.
Wednesday- Unexpected babysitting for the morning and then go to work.
Thursday-Oversleep due to not sleeping well & waking up at 530am with a major cramp in my left side, lasting for a good hour or so. Doctor's appointment to make sure I STILL have acne and need medicine for it. Babysitting around dinner time.
Friday- Probably run some errands before going into work. Working ALL NIGHT, come home & crash.
Saturday-Photoshoot with a friend then MAYBE visit another long lost friend if not having TOO much fun with first said friend.
Sunday-SLEEP & Church =]

Yes I like Sundays, they make me happy and relaxed. =]

Not that I mind being busy but it is hard to schedule with people when other random things pop up that I agree to before I know what is happening.

On the bright side, I have 5 weeks left until I get to hang out with my FABULOUS sister and the best brother-in-law ever! =D

Now to go to the doctor so they can tell me that I STILL have acne. Because I can't look in the mirror and see it or anything...

Also the other more literal bright side! 66 degrees today! 76 tomorrow! Bust out those shorts that have been sitting in the back of my closet since August! =D

Drained But Still Cute

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, I just haven't had the motivation. That, and my memory has been out the window, I can't seem remember what I've done from day to day. How sad, I'm 18 and already my brain seems to be jumping the gun. I blame my body, it has no idea what it is doing right now. I am trying to get on a decent sleep schedule but considering based on what I need to get done, depends on when I need to wake up and it keeps changing. I have been doing better about going to bed by a decent hour though, except last night, I couldn't sleep again.

That is the biggest problem, I am having the hardest time sleeping, either I just can't fall asleep or I don't sleep well or both. Any suggestions???

In other news, I got a new evergreen peacoat from DeliA*s for cheap! Yay clearance/sale! =D

That is my other problem, part of my new years goal was to downsize my wardrobe before going back to Idaho. I have no clue how I am going to get everything back out there. My wardrobe has grown quite unexpectedly since I have been back and I have only been home for a few weeks. O.o

In happy news, I am OFFICIALLY going back out West March 25th!!!!! I am beyond ecstatic even though it is not for another 77 days but who is counting....=D ME! That's who! Ha! All the same, I will get to spend a wonderful week with my sister and her dear silly but brilliant husband. =D And go to......THE FESTIVAL OF COLOR!!!!!!!! =D =D =D =D =D =D =D

I get to throw colored powder at people and get colored powder thrown at me!!! How awesome is that?!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!? I think I might curl my hair that day, then I will feel like Regina Spektor.

Also sorry for not putting Christmas pictures up but if you want to see them click here.

And now some other pictures.

I like eating snow.

My mom and I did this puzzle =D

And Aaron and I drank a bit TOO much of the bubbly Welch's Sparkling Grape Juice. YUM

Hannah and Lizzy came over and we found out your thumb is as long as your nose. Thank you Quelf!

We got the last Disney puzzle that we were missing. Can you name them all?

Talk about well fit puzzle pieces!
(P.S, This picture was harder to get than you think)

Our most recent puzzle! Pretty huh?

Wa-oh, uh-oh,
Stuck like glue,
You and me baby
We're stuck like Glue

This is gonna be a good, good life!

Today was a great day!

To start, we ended up NOT having our German quiz because NO ONE was prepared for it, instead we took it home for homework.

Second, German class is CANCELED tomorrow!!! AKA I GET TO SLEEEEEEP IN! And I need it =]

Then we got out of Book of Mormon early because we decided to meet on Thursday for our class and then Math got let out 15 minutes early!

We went to Walmart and I got more YUMMY cereal! =D And Milk =D

Then for FHE, Bishop Hancock and his wife came and we had a nice lesson on family unity. (And all our FHE guys came for the FIRST TIME EVER! There's 6 of them, normally 3 show up at a time)

We made a family flag (we're FHE group #4) so we named our flag Fantastic 4! Even though Lisa wrote the "Fantastic" small....and we all signed our names artistically and drew pictures on it and it looks AWESOME:

Sorry for the crappy lighting

The left side we have John Bähr aka "Jon Thunder", Pee Wee Herman (Because Cole's last name is Herman and he has dark hair too) along with Jenny-Far, John Berryhill, A-man-duh, Rebecca, Nicole and Lisa. And of course Dallan's monster that he drew because he could.

We have the lyrics "I'm feeling like a star, you can't stop my shine" at the bottom, Tiera (in yellow), Dallan's blob monster again, "Fantastic 4(ever young)" Rachel and BYU Idaho! =D (Aka the best!)

Best for last! "Kiwi" aka Keely, "Eye love the Church of Jesus Christ", Superman Mike (Michael -note he like photography but he is a digital dork meaning he only likes Canon b/c he doesn't know better), Parker the super missionary and his sidekick monkey, Alisa, Cacia, Dallan signed his name twice (the star and the car, his last name is Starr....yeah) and of course me! (I have photography words around my name =D)

Yeah so I am pretty sure this flag rocks and it was a blast making it!

We also played a game where you're in 2 teams and someone draws a word out of a bowl or something. Then each team goes back and forth trying to think of songs with this word in it, such as "love" "hate" "blue" "dance" etc. We lost but it was fun, and we had root beer floats! And the Bishop and his wife left the root beer w/ us so now we have 1 1/2 liters to drink by Friday =D =D =D =D =D

Life of being stuck at home

Sooo.......having your wisdom teeth out sucks. You can't laugh or make any facial expressions for risk of pulling your stitches out. You can only open your mouth barely enough to get food in it and the first day you bleed to no end. To add to it, you can't really control what you swallow so you end up swallowing a good bit of blood till you puke right before you are about to sleep, leaving a lovely burning sensation you can't get rid of b/c you can't rinse and spit, once again due to pulling stitches.

Your head feels huge and constantly hurts from swelling pains and you look like an ugly balloon or one of those fat faced characters one Wii. To add to that you have to sleep with frozen veggies next to your face which thaw out over night all over your pjs and bed sheets cause you and your bed to stink. Then people say you have it good but can't visit you because apparently boy drama is more important than your friend that is trapped in her house, bleeding and in pain. Yeaaaah......can you say miserable? Oh and not having any ice cream in the house and having to watch people eat delicious looking food that you can't have! Oh but people will text you and tell you they can't visit you while you try to get some sleep because your medication makes you tired.

Can't wait to eat real food,
Meg

If I had a potion, then I would fly!

So.....my life in a nutshell.

In the mornings I do sudoku. It's my only form of relaxation. I do sudoku at West too because Precal is boring, I race Sarah during APES (I kick her butt at sudoku) and we've been watching The Importance of Being Ernest in English. (Wonderful movie!)

Aaron is excited because he has discovered caffeine for the last two full weeks of school. It does help sometimes.

This is why I do sudoku, because everyone else (Jenny, Sophia, Aaron) does homework in the morning. Yes we are such over achievers.

Music + sudoku + caffeine + sleep = Morning

Ryan! He's the coolest freshy I've ever seen, he also happens to have the greatest taste in music of all time! Seriously this kid is amazing!

Eric and the other Ryan. They are our quiet people. They're like me in the morning aka 95% asleep. But they are cool guys.

Eric is a whitey fro! It's pretty cool.

Chase and I hang out in the morning. Half the time I fall asleep though, but he doesn't mind. Other times we have very silly conversations with Sheri-lin.

Chase and Kris! My favorite people! Lunch has been much more fun lately now that Sarah and Kris have joined our lunch group. =]

Yutsil, who is the cutest! And Klaus with his crazy fluffy fro, which is SOOO much fun to play with. You can hide several pencils in there. We've done so quite often.

Such a cute picture of Sarah! But Chase jumped in......grrrrr....silly boy. But I still like this picture. Sarah and I are sudoku dorks! She's also extremely abusive in English....poor Hannah haha

Oh in other news, CVS now sells Izzes!

So that's life so far!

-Sunchips are yummy. Go eat some.

Sleep here I come

Spring break! Spring Break! Spring Break! Can you say sleep like crazy? For all the hours I have missed in sleep from high school, I would have to sleep for 90 days straight. In other words 2,160 hours. Exactly. And on the weekends you might catch up an hour or two based on if you want to sleep away your day. Anyyyywhoooo.....I am excited for spring break! However, I feel every year, spring break gets a tad shorter. It seems to me that when I was in elementary school, spring break was two weeks long. Maybe that is my imagination but who can blame me? Every kid is excited to have day after day of digging in the dirt and running around the backyard in a spaceship (swing set) that time no longer matters anymore. But I am getting off topic again....

Well my plans for spring break are quite sporadic...Chase is going paint balling tomorrow and then camping for three days with the guys and Lizzy is going out of town Wednesday. Sooo......sleepover! Girls night tonight with Hannah and Lizzy before Lizzy leaves for GA. Hannah and I also want to have a picnic, get a tan and watch lots of awesome movies. I am also going to have a huge, grand cleaning of my room with my dear mother. Finally getting rid of Catherine's old stuff.....from high school......three years ago.......yeeeeaaaaahhhh......anyways, it shall be an adventure, digging into the depths of under my beeeeed and in my clossssset (to be said in cheesy spooky voice with waving of the fingers). Then maybe we shall go to lunch, having a nice sit down and time to catch up. =] =] =]

Along with all these adventures, maybe some pictures for memories since I only have a few months left at home and maybe more random adventures with other people. Chase is having a cookout Saturday, well his family is because they have several April birthdays so they celebrate them all at once. I am glad because they make delicious food and I am currently starving at this moment. I have Trix cereal in my purse. Teeheehee! Oh! That reminds me, we had story time in German IV today...yesss.....we love stories even at the old ages of 16,17, 18, etc. We were talking about what rabbits like to eat and one kid yelled "flowers", another yelled "plants" and a third yelled "trix!". Oh then on top of it all, Sam decided he wanted to hold the book for Matt while he read, from behind his back. Like those skits where the person from behind pretends to be someones arms. Well he had much fun with stroking Matt's chin and waving at people.

Once again I am rambling....but I guess that is all I have planned.....well it seemed like more at the time. Oooo.....maybe I will go to Cafe Gelato again......it's soooooo good. Man I am hungry but that is because it is almost lunchtime and I have cheese cake for lunch! Well I must go for now.

hungry, hungry, hungry,
Meg

Procrastination

So here I am, sitting in bed at 11pm working on my lovely MWDS. For all those who are lucky enough to have never heard of such a thing, a MWDS is a Major Works Data Sheet, aka a pain in the butt, make or break your grade project. But I'll do it in the morning because we now have a two hour delay for fog! Since we don't get snow except once a year down here, fog makes for a great alternative to sleep in.

Anyway I love sitting in the dark, quite of the night. There is something beautiful about the dark serenity; knowing all the world around you is fast asleep in their beds and you are alone to contemplate your own thoughts. Right now I am thinking how nice it is to have my thoughts to myself. No outside pressure from others. I am also thinking how I wish I did not have a drippy, itchy nose. I either have winter allergies (which would be a first), getting sick or been around too many people with cats today. I am pretty sure it is the third.

Ah cats, lovely, pretty animals but they drive my nose up the wall, causing me to have a great dislike towards them. Dogs however are amazingly sweet and cute. They can turn your day upside down with a wag of their tails. Like when I come home from being out all day, Emily runs to me, with her butt wiggling behind her. Her facial expression is always one of excitement and pure joy for another friend to come play with her and love her. Her energy is enough to fill a room with joy. (Which leads me to another tangent)

Being on the Youth Council Committee at church, each month we have a new challenge. This past month has been to read the scriptures daily and smile more. Now, I am not half bad at remembering scriptures since they are always right next to my bed but smiling, I did not remember that being part of the task. But on my own I have been trying to be nicer. Which can be hard because I am quite opinionated, but I am slowly learning and getting better. But have you ever noticed how small acts of kindness affect your day? Just the other day I witnessed several examples of kindness. At school someone let me out of the parking lot so I could get on to my next school, which made me want to do the same for another person. Then walking upstairs to my last class, a guy held open the door for me. Finally, leaving school, traffic was horrendous and right as I was starting to get upset, there was Dillon, waving his arm vigorously to let me know I could go ahead of him. How those people had made my day without ever knowing it. To them their acts may have seemed small but to me, I was extremely grateful and they made my day a hundred times better. It is nice to see chivalry is not dead.

Well I am getting tired so I think I shall close this post, goodnight one and all and sweet dreams.

<3,
The spunkster
