Pictures Mania and a Little Taste of Life Thus Far

Sorry I haven't blogged in awhile, midterms came all at once and then nothing else really happened.
Life's just kind of been up & down & up & down & up & down these last few weeks.
So here is what I've been doing these last few weeks.

We had to do a book cover for photography.
This is what I did & not to sound boastful, but it rocked & I got an A+.

We did straight scans.

Not going to lie, I kind of hate this one, so don't judge me too harshly.

The Good, Bad and Awesome

This weekend after a long hard week I decided to indulge myself.

With what may you ask?

Some good friends
Roman Holiday (found friends who love old movies as much/maybe even more than I do)*
And what is a good movie and friends without pizookie?

(Yes it was even better than it looks)

I am extremely biased though.

I haven't seen her since August and I am ready to party it up with her!

Very sad for sure.

Speaking of which, I got to skype this kid last Thursday:This is Tyler in case y'all forgot.
He was here last semester rooming in Albert's apartment.
Anyway he's pretty much awesome and pretty hilarious.

On a side note: I cut my own bangs last night.

I'm not sure how I feel about them yet.

They might be good, but probably bad.

Short and Simple

Classes start in the morning. I am a TAD nervous, but mostly for the fact that I think I might die of hunger tomorrow. I have class for just over 3 hours tomorrow in one room in the basement of a building. I don't get out of there until 1pm. I think I might just pack a sandwich and eat it between Art History I and Art History 2.

I hope I am not the ONLY crazy person who signed up for both history classes at once.

But I have 3 classes in that room, totaling 9 hours in a basement. Awesome huh? You could say I have a new home.

Work is.......work. Not thrilled, but to make me feel better, I remind myself that it keeps me here on my offtrack. And I like to eat. And have an apartment. Oh curse these luxuries I enjoy....

Friend-wise things are AWESOME!!!

My roommates are pretty much the BEST THING EVER! I love them all to bits and I think we are going to have a blast this semester.

Haley Nicholas has come over every day since she got here. She can talk MORE than me. I kinda really love it! She's a doll and she gets along with my roommates perfectly. I'd say she is a keeper!

Everyone is settled in now and today I realized I have no "fun" classes. My "fun" and "hard" classes will PROBABLY be art history......yup.......art major.....woohoo!

Also scripture study is AMAZING and has really made a difference in my days. The CES fireside was REALLY good tonight.

My ward seems nice. LOTS of cute boys!!! *Praying that the cute boys from Harris are in my FHE!!!*

Saw Jason Hiatt today and screamed his name loudly. =] Yup I think he appreciated it....haha

And I love my roommate Nikki. She is a doll and the sweetest person ever! Love you deary <3

And I got to skype Hannah and Lizzy! That was lots of fun =]

I got another letter from Michael Gmeiner; he is doing well. And I am expecting a letter from Rachel! I'm excited!

First Things First

Show off how cute my dog is!

Look how cute that fluffy ball of fur is! Her name is Emily, she's 6 and the sweetest, cutest thing I ever did see!

And then Sunday afternoon it down poured, and I did the only thing one can do when it rains:
Go play in it of course! =D It took less than 5 minutes to get completely drenched. Gosh I love NC summer rain! =D


And my best friend Jenny. Known her pretty much my WHOLE life. And she's going to be in my apartment in the fall! Yay roomies!

If I had a potion, then I would fly!

So.....my life in a nutshell.

In the mornings I do sudoku. It's my only form of relaxation. I do sudoku at West too because Precal is boring, I race Sarah during APES (I kick her butt at sudoku) and we've been watching The Importance of Being Ernest in English. (Wonderful movie!)

Aaron is excited because he has discovered caffeine for the last two full weeks of school. It does help sometimes.

This is why I do sudoku, because everyone else (Jenny, Sophia, Aaron) does homework in the morning. Yes we are such over achievers.

Music + sudoku + caffeine + sleep = Morning

Ryan! He's the coolest freshy I've ever seen, he also happens to have the greatest taste in music of all time! Seriously this kid is amazing!

Eric and the other Ryan. They are our quiet people. They're like me in the morning aka 95% asleep. But they are cool guys.

Eric is a whitey fro! It's pretty cool.

Chase and I hang out in the morning. Half the time I fall asleep though, but he doesn't mind. Other times we have very silly conversations with Sheri-lin.

Chase and Kris! My favorite people! Lunch has been much more fun lately now that Sarah and Kris have joined our lunch group. =]

Yutsil, who is the cutest! And Klaus with his crazy fluffy fro, which is SOOO much fun to play with. You can hide several pencils in there. We've done so quite often.

Such a cute picture of Sarah! But Chase jumped in......grrrrr....silly boy. But I still like this picture. Sarah and I are sudoku dorks! She's also extremely abusive in English....poor Hannah haha

Oh in other news, CVS now sells Izzes!

So that's life so far!
